After many efforts of the whole society and the Government's policy of safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the COVID-19 epidemic, the production and business situation is gradually showing positive results. .

The Government's credit support packages for businesses and people affected by the COVID-19 epidemic were evaluated by economic experts, associations and many businesses at the right time and on target.

However, it is undeniable that the implementation of support policies at many levels, sectors and some localities still faces many limitations, making it difficult for some businesses to access capital to recover. .

Reporters synthesize many business opinions on this issue.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ket, Director of SKD Vietnam Precision Mechanics Company: Policy on interest rate support from the State budget for businesses in Decree 31/ND-CP of the Government, dated May 20, recently is Very encouraging move. With this policy, businesses can access capital at a reduced interest rate of 2-3%/year for all arising and new loans. Enterprises in the manufacturing and mechanical industries are also eligible for incentives.

Recently, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused businesses to face many difficulties in production. Since the beginning of this year, Vietnam has implemented a more "open" policy with COVID-19 to help businesses have a chance to recover. Many customers and partners have also returned to sign contracts with SKD Vietnam. We look forward to expanding production to meet new orders, along with research to release new products.

As a small enterprise, specializing in manufacturing precision mechanical components for Taiwan (China) partners, cooperating with Japanese enterprises to supply goods, enterprises need to reform management, production, promote technology and research. These activities require large capital to carry out.

For small businesses, the support level of 2-3% of the loan interest rate will not be too large a number, but in the context of the current market and business community facing many difficulties, this will be the driving force and source of support. support so that businesses can pay items such as employees' salaries, offset other costs...

The policy from the Government is very good, but the implementation below also needs to be more open, to avoid falling into a situation like many previous land tax and interest support policies, which are difficult for businesses to access, especially businesses. For small and medium enterprises, collateral is not much, while facing many difficulties due to the epidemic.

Mr. Dao Phan Long, Chairman of the Association of Mechanical Enterprises: The year 2020-2021 is a very difficult time for the business community in general and the mechanical and manufacturing industry in particular. Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, accounting for more than 98% of the total number of businesses, the epidemic also made them face many difficulties in export, import, goods circulation and production and business. Many businesses had to downsize their production and business or were temporarily suspended.

However, the Government and ministries and branches have actively participated with many policies and solutions on taxes, fees, interest rates... to support and help businesses reduce difficulties and quickly restore production. Thanks to that, many businesses have adapted, flexibly restructured, invested in technology to continue production and development.

Over the past time, the association has also closely followed businesses, grasping difficulties and problems to make timely proposals and reports to State agencies for settlement and support. Especially during the epidemic, the supply chain of goods and production materials of the mechanical industry was broken, the association has done a good job of gathering and linking businesses, using products in the same industry, sharing information. messages, orders.
